Our Process
The Socratic Method has been taught since ancient times and is the foundation to our society and critical thinking. While the business name may give lawyers anxiety from a L1 class, rest assured, the business goal is to ask questions in a method to lead to the truth of your business goals. The Socratic Method is a dialogue between teacher and student where the teacher asks thought provoking questions and the student asks questions of their own. After nearly 20 years working with small and large businesses and law firms, the goal of Socratic Method Marketing is to create long- term, successful relationships. Using this process, our consultants are able to gain a true understanding of business goals, allow the customer to share openly about good and bad past experiences, and have an educational session about today’s best practices and how the strategy can evolve as business goals change and evolve.
Upon working with Socratic Method Marketing, you will experience these five steps:

WONDER
Free Consultation. Our consultants will truly listen to what you, the business owner, has to say about your goals and assumptions of the current market and what it takes to see a return on investment. During this process, it is all about discovery and ensuring there is alignment.

REFLECT
Summarize the discovery session. The consuktant will then provide industry data, competitive analysis, and review goals of the firm or business.

REFINE & CROSS EXAMINE
Consultant will provide recommended strategy and review in detail, while educating the pieces and the “why” each strategy should be part of a balanced marketing portfolio. During this phase the teacher becomes the student. The business owner and consultant should challenge assumptions to test the validity.

RESTATE
Following the dialogue, the consultant will restate the goals and agreed upon assumptions for the marketing plan.

REPEAT
The market changes, technology changes, and so do your business goals. A piece of advice that reigns true in business is that “people’s circumstances change every ninety days”. Therefore, this process must be repeated every 90 days to ensure continuous growth and alignment.
